Just as they did last year with Item 47, Marvel premiered their latest One-Shot short film at Comic-Con for a group of lucky fans and press. Titled Agent Carter, it has Hayley Atwell reprising her popular Peggy Carter character from Captain America: The First Avenger. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get in to the screening this time (seriously Marvel, what's up with that?), but fortunately the first clip has been released before it becomes part of the Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray/DVD special features on September 24th.
Picking up right after the events of 'Captain America', Agent Carter finds herself joining the new SHIELD organization, and taking on a mission to locate the Zodiac key. To do it she'll need to stand up to her chauvinistic boss, who thinks a guy could probably do the job of being a spy better. There are a couple of other nice cameos to be found that are worth keeping secret.
We know Peggy Carter will be turning up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and that Emily Van Camp will be playing her niece, Agent 13 aka Sharon Carter. So consider Agent Carter a nice bridge between the past and the present.
