Will Fox Announce a New 'Predator' Film at Comic-Con?

It's been four years since the Predator franchise was revived in spectacular fashion in Predators, which had Robert Rodriguez producing and Nimrod Antal behind the camera. The film was a decent-sized success, tripling its $40M budget, but more importantly it got fans excited about the property again. Rodriguez said soon after that he and the studio were already planning sequels, but we've heard little of it since. But now the Predators Facebook page just dropped a hint that something may be announced very soon, likely at Comic-Con...

An image was released featuring the words "There's something out there waiting for us, and it ain't no man... We're all gonna die.", with San Diego Comic-Con in the background. The suggestion is that 20th Century Fox will be making some sort of announcement during their Hall H panel on Saturday. We already know they'll be bringing other tentpoles Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, The Wolverine, and a "surprise" project. It's unclear whether this surprise is a Predators sequel or the previously-revealed X-Force.

We'll hopefully learn more on this soon.
