'The Twilight Zone' Film Gets a New Writer

There's been a lot of changes to The Twilight Zone feature film. They've already had several directors and writers attaching and then detaching themselves from the film that it's gotten a bit confusing. The film's been in development since 2009 and now according to Variety, the film has a new writer and director who are set to finally bring the film to the big screen.

Joseph Kosinski, who most recently directed Oblivion, is set to direct while Ari Eli Coleite is now attached as writer. Previously Matt Reeves was going to direct and Anthony Peckham, Jason Rothenberg, and Rand Ravich were also set to write.

Coleite has written for the TV show Heroes. The film will be one story with several different variations from The Twilight Zone TV show.

The film, which will be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio's company Appian Way, has no release date as of now. It'll be interesting to see what they'll do with this project or if it'll keep getting stalled by the inner shake-ups that are going on.
