Seven Clips from 'Transcendence' Starring Johnny Depp

Between the Terminator reboot and Wally Pfister's Transcendence, the age of the self-aware supercomputers is definitely back. With the latter sci-fi film only a couple of weeks away, seven new clips have been released. Starring Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Morgan Freeman, and Paul Bettany, the story follows a team of scientists led by Dr. Will Caster (Depp), who are trying to build the first sentient supercomputer. When anti-technology extremists attack Caster, they unwittingly force him to participate in his own transcendence.

Pfister has done some amazing work as Christopher Nolan's cinematographer, but so far Transcendence hasn't looked terribly impressive visually. We'll have wait until April 18th to see what kind of stamp he puts on his directorial debut. [Collider]
