Final 'Exodus: Gods & Kings' Trailer Unleashes the Spectacle

Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton get Biblical in the final trailer for Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods & Kings, showcasing what looks like one massive spectacle of a film. That's if you can get past the casting which, while top notch on paper, doesn't exactly promise a degree of authenticity....er, assuming you believe any of this stuff is authentic to begin with.  The story is a familiar one depicted on screen in the past, with Moses rising up to lead the Israelities out of Egypt and the tyranny of Pharaoh Ramses, a man he once saw as a brother.

The previous trailers have focused largely on ideological and physical war brewing between Moses and Ramses, the latest shows what happens when God gets angry. Since Moses has the G-O-D on his side, Ramses' refusal to free the slaves will bring down a terrible plague upon Egypt, which he get our best look at yet in this footage. So will this film appeal to both the religious and fans who are just hoping to see another Gladiator-sized epic? We'll find out when Exodus: Gods & Kings opens December 12th.
