First Trailer for Real-Life Drama 'True Story' starring James Franco and Jonah Hill

James Franco stays busy pretty much all year 'round, but when Sundance comes along he kicks it into another gear. Once again he's got multiple films debuting in the wintry climate of Park City, and both based on real-life stories. One is the gay activist drama, I Am Michael; the other is True Story, which sounds too crazy to be believed.

Franco stars alongside his pal Jonah Hill but don't think this is some stoner comedy. The first trailer for True Story suggests something seriously bizarre but not at any kind of heightened level. Hill plays New York Times journalist Michael Finkel, with Franco as wanted murderer Christian Longo. Longo had been on the run from the FBI and hiding under Finkel's identity, leading to a weird relationship when they encounter one another.

This isn't how we're used to seeing Hill and Franco together on screen, but that's also part of what makes True Story intriguing.  Also starring Felicity Jones and Gretchen Mol, True Story opens in theaters on April 10th 2015.
