Yet Another Trailer for 'Jupiter Ascending' starring Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, and Eddie Redmayne

Does it seem like we've had about five or six trailers for the Wachowskis' Jupiter Ascending? Well, that's because we have. The sci-fi film saw its release date bumped from last summer to next February, which may explain the need to try and keep it fresh in our minds. The actual result is fatigue for a film that doesn't come out for another three months.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about it right now is that two of its stars, Channing Tatum and Eddie Redmayne, are both deep in the Oscar race this year for their dramatic performances in Foxcatcher and The Theory of Everything. Here's the official synopsis for Jupiter Ascending, which sounds like more of the Wachowskis telling an intergalactic love story. Guess they didn't learn from Cloud Atlas, but at least this one has 100% more Sean Bean.

From the streets of Chicago to the far-flung galaxies whirling through space, “Jupiter Ascending” tells the story of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along—her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Jupiter Ascending opens February 6th 2015.

Natalie Dormer Enters 'The Forest'; Sean Bean Joins 'The Martian'

The gorgeous Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) continues her climb up the big-screen ladder by taking the lead in The Forest, based on an original concept by David Goyer. Directed by Jason Zada with a script co-written by Sarah Cornwell and Nick Antosca, the psychological follows a young woman named Sara who enters the famous Aokigahara Forest (aka the Suicide Forest) at the based of Mt. Fuji to find her missing twin sister. Despite warning to "stay on the path", she must contend with the angry tormented souls that prey on those who enter. Dormer will be seen next in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. The Forest will open on January 8th 2016.

Sean Bean, formerly of HBO's Game of Thrones and now starring in the TNT series, Legends, has joined Ridley Scott's The Martian. He'll play a NASA flight director in the film which stars Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded on Mars and must survive long enough to find a way home. Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, and Jeff Daniels co-star.

First Trailer for The Wachowskis 'Jupiter Ascending' with Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis

There's no denying that The Wachowskis aimed large with Cloud Atlas, gathering an A-list cast for a big sci-fi epic that touched on multiple themes. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to get audiences to care very much ,and not even the directors' track record did anything to help. So what do they do next? Take on something smaller and more grounded? Not hardly. They're heading back out into deep space for Jupiter Ascending, and the first trailer has arrived.

Starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, the film resembles an intergalactic version of Snow White and the Huntsman. Kunis plays Jupiter Jones, a poor woman who is destined to change the universe. Tatum, in rather silly guy-liner, plays Caine, a genetically-altered mercenary sent to Earth to kill her, but winds up protecting her instead. Well, it's definitely not Speed Racer. The Wachowskis are going ambitious again, and even though it appears to be a mix of action and large ideas similar to The Matrix, will that be enough to turn their fortunes around?

Co-starring Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean (who will probably die), James D'Arcy, Bae Doona, and Douglas Smith, Jupiter Ascending opens July 25th 2014.

Sean Bean to play "Han Solo-type" character in The Wachowskis' 'Jupiter Ascending'

Cloud Atlas may have been a box office dud, arguably the biggest and most high-profile of last year, there's still a good deal of anticipation for The Wachowskis' next big sci-fi epic, Jupiter Ascending. Say what you want about Cloud Atlas, it was at least ambitious and immaculately constructed, and chances are they will carry those production values over as filming is slated to begin shortly in London. Already with a cast that includes Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, and Eddie Redmayne, Deadline reports that Sean Bean is the latest to sign on.

The story sounds like a deep space riff on Snow White and the Huntsman, with Kunis playing a poor Russian immigrant who shares the same genetic make-up as the Queen of the Universe. This makes her a target, and the Queen dispatches an assassin to kill her, but he chooses not to and they fall in love, going on the run together. Bean's character is Stinger, described as a "Han Solo-type". I guess that means he gets all the cool, quippy one-liners and will be morally ambiguous or something. Hopefully it also means he shoots first. Then again, this is Sean Bean, who gets killed in every friggin' movie he's in, so chances are he shoots last.

Jupiter Ascending has no release date yet, so until then just enjoy this hilarious Sean Bean "Death Reel", which our friends at ThePlaylist reminded me of. Not only does Bean die a lot, his deaths are pretty spectacular.

Trailer Time: Black Death, starring Sean Bean and Eddie Redmayne

We've seen a couple of trailers already for Black Death, the medievel horror starring Sean Bean as a fearless knight leading a band of warriors on a quest to find a powerful necromancer. The red band trailer released just last month was vicious, but I think this brand new feature trailer is even better as we get a bit more info on the story.  Check out the trailer below, and look out for Black Death when it hits On Demand starting February 4th, or when it lands in theaters on March 11th!

The year is 1348. Europe has fallen under the shadow of the Black Death. As the plague decimates all in its path, fear and superstition are rife. In this apocalyptic environment, the church is losing its grip on the people. There are rumors of a village, hidden in marshland that the plague cannot reach. There is even talk of a necromancer who leads the village and is able to bring the dead back to life. Ulric (Sean Bean), a fearsome knight, is charged by the church to investigate these rumors. He enlists the guidance of a novice monk, Osmund (Eddie Redmayne) to lead him and his band of mercenary soldiers to the marshland, but Osmund has other motives for leaving his monastery. Their journey to the village and events that unfold take them into the heart of darkness and to horrors that will put Osmunds faith in himself and his love for God to the ultimate test
