Sure Shots: Snow White and the Huntsman; Angelina Jolie; The Dark Tower

* Universal and Relativity continue their battle for Snow White supremacy. Relativity's been far ahead with The Brother Grimm: Snow White having their major cast in place for months. But now that Universal has Chris Hemsworth locked up for Snow White and the Huntsman, they've decided to hip check Relativity into the boards by pushing their film up six months to June 1st 2012! The Brothers Grimm: Snow White comes out four weeks later on June 29th! D'oh! Your move, Relativity! If history shows us anything it's that the early bird gets both the worm and the big pay day.

* Angelina's much anticipated Bosnian War romance film finally has a title, In The Land of Blood and Honey. It also has a distributor in FilmDistrict and a release date set for December 23rd. Jolie has gathered an entirely local cast featuring many survivors of the conflict.

* Last we heard about Ron Howard's massive adaptation of The Dark Tower, it looked like the film was in some serious trouble. With Universal balking at the budget, rumors were that it was being shopped to other studios. It looks like the struggling studio has decided to hold on to the potential world beater, but the budget is being trimmed down according to THR. That's going to mean delays and possible rewrites, which could throw Javier Bardem's participation into question. Keep an eye on this one.
