Trailer Time: The Adventures of Tintin, directed by Steven Spielberg

Following the release of two new one-sheets for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin, Paramount has now unveiled the first teaser trailer for the CG animated pic. Based on two connected stories published in the 1940s by creator Georges "Herge" Remi, the film is set for release on December 23rd. Check it out below....

Ok tell me you didn't think that was live-action up until the end? Compare what we see here to the cold, emotionless figures we saw when Robert Zemeckis debuted performance capture animation in The Polar Express. It's not even close. Curiously, the trailer seems to have jettisoned the full title in favor of the much simpler The Adventures of Tintin. Probably a smart move.

PLOT

Starring Jamie Bell (“Billy Elliot,” “Defiance”) as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig (“Quantum of Solace,” “Defiance”) as the nefarious Red Rackham.
