Bruce Willis officially in talks for GI Joe: Retaliation

Why do I love Bruce Willis so much? Because while some of the more outwardly eccentric actors may make some oddball film choices, Willis appears to be a regular dude who delights in making film's that are completely unexpected. It's impossible to predict what he'll do next. He can star in a piece of crap straight-to-DVD movie alongside 50 Cent and it doesn't affect him at all. The guy is untouchable.

Last month it was first reported that Willis was being eyed for a role as the original Joe, General Joe Colton, in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, the sequel to 2009's hit film about the paramilitary outfit locked in a global war against the COBRA terrorist organization.  There wasn't much more to the story then, and just how deep the pursuit for Willis went wasn't really clear. Well now we know that Willis isn't just being looked at for the film, he's in final negotiations for it, according to Heatvision.

I'll say this, Paramount really wants to make this sequel better than the first, and if the cast is any indication it definitely will be. Jon Chu(Justin Bieber: Never Say Never) is directing. Channing Tatum, Ray Park, and Lee Byung-Hun are the only ones returning. Dwayne Johnson, Adrienne Palicki, Elodie Yung, Rza, DJ Cotrona, Joseph Mazzello, and Ray Stevenson make up the new faces.
