A second trailer for Takashi Miike's live-action film based on Capcom's Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney video games has been released, and while it maintains the series' crazy, hyperbolic style, we finally see elements of the mystery that drives the story. Phoenix Wright is a young lawyer working in a future judicial system so crowded that every case lasts no more than three days, with each opposing side pulling out every trick in the book to win. If you know Capcom's games, like the Street Fighter series, then imagine that sort of action only in a courtroom setting.
Phoenix Wright? Pretty damn awesome in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. The film seems to be doing him perfect justice. It should land in Japanese theaters in February, hopefully appearing on our shores in some capacity not long after. Check out the trailer below, which thankfully includes English subtitles...
