Trailer Time: 'ATM', starring Alice Eve and Brian Geraghty

Combine two co-workers, their cock blocking colleague, an ATM machine, and a mysterious stranger and you've got the recipe for ATM, the single-location debut thriller from David Brooks. Yep, single location. Like Phone Booth or last year's surprisingly good Ryan Reynolds flick, Buried. Actually, the story for ATM comes from Chris Sparling, who wrote Buried so he presumably knows how to make these things work.

Alice Eve, Brian Geraghty(The Hurt Locker), and Josh Peck(Mean Creek) are the three who find themselves trapped in an ATM cubicle when a murderous stranger dressed like an Eskimo starts terrorizing them.

The trailer looks pretty lousy, but then these movies always do because it takes an extraordinary amount of coincidences to keep the momentum going. Why don't they call the police? Oh, everybody left their phones in the car. Why did they all have to go into the ATM to begin with? Those machine generally have an alarm on them, so couldn't they trigger it? I'm nitpicking before I've even seen it, so let me just stop now. Maybe it'll be worth making a withdrawal to buy a ticket for. There's no hard release date, but you can probably expect to see it in the next few months. Check out the ATM trailer below....
