This might sound crazy for those who actually sat through Tarsem Singh's goofy Mirror Mirror, but it may be the Snow White adaptation that sticks closest to the source material. Ruper Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman features giant ogres, massive battles featuring armor clad warriors, and a version of the heroine who looks like she would be more comfortable hanging out with Hobbits than a bunch of dwarves.
Two new clips have been released for the film ahead of its debut on June 1st, and both show off the impressive special effects work at play. The first features Snow White(Kristen Stewart) confronting that giant forest creature we've seen in some of the promo images. The other looks like it may from the final battle, as Snow White, the Huntsman(Chris Hemsworth), and the Prince(Sam Claflin) confront Queen Ravenna(Charlize Theron), but are slowed down by her guards, made up of chunks of glass.
