New trailer for Michael Biehn's directorial debut, 'The Victim'

Michael Biehn doesn't do that "playing the victim" crap. The sci-fi icon, most remembered for starring in The Terminator and Aliens, has been most closely associated with the horror and grindhouse genre over the last few years, and it's a switch that seems to have fit him perfectly. Teaming up with his wife, Jennifer Blanc, Biehn not only opened up his own studio, but is now set to release his directorial debut with the gritty, violent, invasion thriller, The Victim.

Biehn stars as Kyle, a rugged backwoods recluse who just wants to stay as far away from civilization as possible. His wish to be left alone is interrupted suddenly with a single knock on his door, where he meets Annie(Blanc), who is being pursued by a pair of corrupt cops after witnessing their murderous acts.

It looks like Biehn gets to exact some bloody punishment as his home comes under attack. He's always done the reluctant hero bit well, and the film looks well shot and excessively brutal. All good things in my book! Anchor Bay is set to release the film in limited engagements on August 24th, before releasing the film on DVD/Blu-Ray on September 18th.
