Harrison Ford joins 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues'

It's only been a couple of years since Harrison Ford donned the suit of an ornery broadcaster in the romantic comedy, Morning Glory, and he must have had a good time because he's doing it again. Before he hops back into the Millennium Falcon for one of those Star Wars sequels, Ford will be trade barbs with Will Ferrell in Anchorman: The Legend Continues.

THR broke the news, saying Ford will take on the role of a legendary newsman who, if we're all fortunate, will rankle the feathers of Ron Burgundy and the rest of the Action News team. The story by Adam McKay and Ferrell will have the gang transported to the bright lights of New York City, where they'll deal with increasing racial diversity and the advent of the 24-hour news cycle.

That's about all we know of the plot, which is being guarded tighter than Han Solo frozen in Carbonite. Anchorman: The Legend Continues opens on December 20th.
