New Japanese Trailer for Disney's 'Frozen'

The first teaser for Disney's Frozen took a lot of people by surprise, mainly because it looked like one of those Ice Age short films where Scrat chases the acorn. But the film isn't about a Snowman and his rivalry with a reindeer that acts like a dog, it's actually based Hans Christian Anderson's The Snow Queen, and a new Japanese trailer finally gets down to showing that story.

While totally in Japanese, the trailer is completely new footage and provides a look at the adventure's scope. Kristen Bell voices Anna, a young princess who teams up with a stranger (and his reindeer sidekick) to save the kingdom from a perpetual winter. Chris Buck (Surf's Up) and Jennifer Lee co-directed, and it looks like they pulled from the Tangled playbook in crafting the film's glossy visuals.

Frozen arrives on November 27th. We'll update this post with an English version once it's available, which shouldn't be too long.
