Stay Classy and Win an 'Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues' Prize Pack!

After nine long years, Ron Burgundy has returned with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, and fans have been turning out in droves to see what pearls of wisdom the newscaster with the salon-quality hair will bring us. To help celebrate the return of Burgundy and the entire Channel 4 News Team, we're giving away a prize pack so you can live it up in true Anchorman style.

We're offering one of our readers a chance to win a prize pack that includes an Anchorman 2 "Classy" t-shirt; keychain, coasters, and of course a poster. But that's not all! You can "give your little Anchorman the support he deserves" with a pair of Jockey underwear briefs, in 'Sex Panther Red', obviously! For more on Jockey and Anchorman 2 go to Jockey.com/StayClassy.

'Offering Ron the Job' New Clip from Anchorman 2!

By the beard of a jilted unicorn! Am I really feeling Ron Burgundy overload? Surely this can't be possible, I've waited something like ten years for this and now, just weeks away from release, I'm feeling the itch to knock Ron's mustache sideways. I mean, DAMN, dude is everywhere! Reading sports on a Michigan local news station then calling Monday Night Football, hell...I'm sure he's even done local commercials for some mom and pop appliance repair shop by now!

Whooossaaaa. Ok, I'm good. It's just that this is really an ensemble comedy and Ron is that guy from High School that was awesome in small doses but 45 minutes into a road trip your ready to throw him out of the window. I would love to see Brick doing the weather for Good Morning America, or Brian Fantana guest hosting The Bachelor, how about Champ hosting Sportscenter one morning?

Our latest entry in the Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues marketing blitz shows us the sit down Ron has where he accepts the job at GNN, the Global News Network. It's pretty much textbook Ron with one downside...some of his trademarks are showing signs of wear, "By the hymen of Olivia Newton John"......Really, that's what your bringing to the highlight table?

Needless to say, I'll be first in line and first to wear out every quotable line from the movie so that shows where my dignity sits.

First Clips from 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' Aren't Very Funny

The marketing for Anchorman: The Legend Continues has mostly featured Ron Burgundy in commercial ads schilling for cars, books, or other products he has nothing to do with, and let's just say it hasn't been all that effective. Will Ferrell is a funny guy but Burgundy is a character that works only within the realm of Anchorman, and all they've really accomplished is overexposing him in the way Austin Powers was overexposed to distract from movies that stopped being funny pretty fast. And now the first clips from the Anchorman sequel are here, and they give more reason for concern.

The first clip has Burgundy and the rest of the team going gah-gah over their new colleagues, especially James Marsden as the immaculately-haired Jack Lime. The seeds of a future showdown are sewn but not much in the way of laughs. The second is also curiously free of humor and has the guys confused by a commentator's Australian accent. Painting the guys as oblivious and narcissistic is one thing, but they are seriously treading on Dumb and Dumber territory now.

Oh, and just to emphasize how watered down Ron Burgundy has become, here he is pimpin' for some TSN curling event, and another of him getting in on all the Doctor Who hoopla. Ugh.  Anchorman: The Legend Continues opens December 20th.
