Warner Brothers pushes Man of Steel back to 2013

Whether or not this has anything to do with the reported script problems causing Kurt Johnstad(300) to be brought in to do some rewrites, I don't know. But it seems like a pretty fair assumption now that Warner Brothers has pushed Zack Snyder's Man of Steel from it's December 2012 release date all the way to June 14th 2013. That's going to be a busy months already, what with Monsters University and R.I.P.D. due out roughly the same time.

Whenever it gets underway, Man of Steel will star Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Antje Traue, and Russell Crow in a story overseen by Christopher Nolan and initially written by David Goyer. [Variety]
