Trailer Time: Men in Black III, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones
After months of on set troubles including major script delays, on set tantrums by Will Smith, Alec Baldwin dropping out, and a general lack of confidence anybody wants Men in Black III, the trailer for it is finally here and....it doesn't look all that bad. Barry Sonnenfeld is back to direct, with a heavily retooled script by David Koepp(Spider-Man) and Jeff Nathanson.
The story has Agent J(Smith) going back in time to save his alien hunting partner, Agent K(Tommy Lee Jones) who was erased from the timeline after being killed in the 1960s. There, J runs into K's younger self(Josh Brolin) who does one hell of a spooky Jones impersonation. We get a hint of a little dissention and secrecy within the Men in Black organization, and we also catch a glimpse of Emma Thompson as the head of the agency. Alice Eve plays her in the 1960s, while Jemaine Clement is the villain known as Yaz.
Men in Black III opens next year on May 25th, but for now check out the trailer....
