Sure Shots: Zoe Saldana; Rebel Wilson; 'The Hangover Part III'

* Hey, remember that long-in-the-works Nina Simone biopic? Simply titled Nina, it's been in development since around 2005, and two years ago the gears started to turn in a big way with Mary J. Blige taking on the role of legendary jazz musician and civil rights activist. We haven't heard much since, but appears Blige and David Oyelowo(Rise of the Planet of the Apes) are still on board, and now you can throw Zoe Saldana into the mix. It appears as if she'll join the film in an unspecified role, although since the film will center on Simone's later life and relationship with Clifton Henderson, it's possible Saldana could play Simone's daughter, Lisa Celeste Stroud(aka Simone). Still, there's no word on when this will get in front of cameras, so while this is good news, I'm not holding my breath on it. Cynthia Mort(The Brave One) wrote the script and is in line to direct. * There can never be too much Rebel Wilson as far as I'm concerned. The Bridesmaids break out has been everywhere lately with supporting gigs in What to Expect When You're Expecting, and the upcoming comedies, Bachelorette and Pitch Perfect. But now she'll get a chance to be the headliner, starring in the indie comedy, Unicorn Store. Described as "quirky" with Wilson playing an "imaginative" character, the plot is being kept under wraps for now. Miguel Arteta(Cedar Rapids) is directing, based on a script developed by Mike White(The Good Girl), David Bernad, and Tyro Samantha McIntyre. [Variety]

* Looks like Todd Phillips is bringing back the whole gang for The Hangover Part III. Of course you can expect the entire Wolfpack to return, but the same goes for supporting players, Mike Tyson, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, and Mike Epps. Now you can add one more, with Sasha Barrese set to return as Tracy, who played the frustrated bride-to-be in the first film. Likely she will do little more than hold the phone and wonder where all the guys have disappeared to. It wouldn't be a 'Hangover' movie without her, to be honest. [Variety]
