Zack Snyder Teases Reveal of the New Batmobile

Nearly as much as seeing the new Bat-suit in any Batman movie, fans eagerly await the design of the latest Batmobile. Just as nobody wants to see Bat-nipples on the costume, there will be many who will go over the vehicle's look with a fine-toothed comb, and that will be no different for Batman vs. Superman.

Zack Snyder hit Twitter with an image of the new Batmobile draped in a tarp, and teases that the cover would be pulled tomorrow. Yeah, but will it be revealed to us or just the folks on set?
Hard to tell is there's any influence from The Dark Knight trilogy's Tumbler or not, but I'm sure there's some Batmobile expert who recognizes the tire treads are different or something.

Dwayne Johnson and Gina Carano on the set of 'Fast Six'

*UPDATE* Here's another shot of Johnson with Gal Gadot, and damn she's lookin' fine! Some guys have all the luck.*

This is just something I found really cool. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is one of the most active stars on Twitter, and you can always count on him to give his fans an inside look at every production he's a part of. He's currently filming Fast Six, which sees him returning to the role of DSS agent Luke Hobbs, and now he's tweeted a new set photo of himself with his co-star, Gina Carano.

Kinda makes me wonder if the ex-WWE superstar and the MMA grappler ever got into any wrestling matches on set? Think he gave her the People's Elbow? Carano will play a member of Hobbs' team, who again are tracking down Dominic Toretto(Vin Diesel) and his crew as they attempt a major European heist. Other new additions to the cast include Luke Evans as the villain, martial artist Joe Taslim, and model Clara Paget.

Fast Six is directed by Justin Lin and hits theaters on May 24th 2013.

The Hulk says "Avengers no 3D"!!

When given the choice, I chose to attend the Green Lantern screenign that was not in 3D.  Why? I'm not one of those haters who thumb their nose at anything using the format. I look at it as an extended phase that will eventually burn itself out, the way 3D always does. My reason for attending the 2D event was that Warner Brothers chose to add 3D to the film in post-conversion, a technique I am not at all fond of, with the trail of broken films(Clash of the Titans, Alice in Wonderland, The Last Airbender) to back me up. But 3D, whether done natively or in post, isn't going away anytime soon, with pretty much every major tentpole film promised to use it in some way.

The biggest superhero movie on the horizon is The Avengers, Joss Whedon's all-star jam of Marvel heroes both new(Hawkeye, Captain America), and old(Iron Man, The Hulk) to the big screen. One question that has evaded answer for months is whether or not it would be in 3D. Well now we know, courtesy of a tweet by star Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner in the film. He says...

“Avengers is not being shot in 3D.”

Simple and to the point. He might've been couching his words there, though. The film won't be shot in 3D, but what about post-conversion? I wouldn't be surprised at all if that's what happens, considering the extra ticket prices helped Thor keep it's head above water. With the May 4th 2012 release date, let's hope Disney has enough time to get it right if that's the route they're taking.
